Classic Grilled Turkey Burger

These mouthwatering Grilled Turkey Burgers are completely customizable and perfect for any cookout or summer get-together!

Ingredients

1 lb lean turkey, ground (93% lean) (We used Bowman & Landes )
¼ c cup breadcrumbs
3 Tbs shredded parmesan cheese
1 Tbs soy sauce
1 Tbs melted butter
½ tsp gelatin
¼ tsp back pepper
¼ tsp salt
¼ tsp baking soda
PAM cooking spray

Directions

  • Light grill and allow to heat to 400-450⁰F.
  • Dissolve the baking soda in 1-2 tsp of water and add to ground turkey in a large bowl.
  • Add all other ingredients to the bowl, combine, and mix thoroughly while being careful not to over mix.
  • Divide the ground turkey mixture into 4 equal patties and coat with an even layer of PAM spray on both sides.
  • Let rest for a minute and take this time to brush off the grill grates.
  • Place patties on the grill.
  • Grill patties 4-5 minutes on each side, until the internal temperature reaches 160⁰F.
  • Once the patties are done, remove from the grill and allow to rest for a few minutes.
  • Assemble burgers using your bread/bun of choice, along with your favorite burger toppings: i.e., lettuce, tomato, onion, and avocado.
  • Enjoy!

Equipment needed: instant-read thermometer; grill (or skillet).
